Having to walk past a mirror is motivation enough.
I tend to mix up my music when things start to get a bit challenging.
I couldn’t walk for years, so if I ever don’t feel like working out, I just think back to that challenging time and focus on how grateful I am to now be able to exercise! That gets me up and moving (and smiling!) more than anything else! xx
I have two friends who nag me to get me moving. When I know I’m going to be feeling lazy, I give my partner my tablet and ask him not to give it back til I’ve done something active but he’s a softie and always hands it over anyway ?
Remember everything in life feels better when you are in shape
My best tip is my mantra! It is an acrostic I made which Is now a part of me, and the first thing I think of in the mornings:
S – Stunning Circulation
W- Whole Hydration
E- Emcompassing Exercise
T- Total Nutrition
I also use a hprase coined by the late, amazing Jack LaLanne, ‘Exercise is King, Nutrition is Queen, put them together and you’ve got a Kingdom’.
When you think about quitting think about why you started
the motivation that keeps me going is when i look at photos of how i used to look and realise that i dont want to go back there;
have a routine
Think about how good you’ll feel when you’ve worked out

A picture on the fridge door of how i want to be
Good music and buddy to work together.
Always avoid Social Media Comparisons – As great as it is to find inspiration and support on Facebook and Instagram, seeing photos and status updates can trigger unhealthy thoughts or comparisons. There is no need for comparison. Be happy with yourself and do what’s right for your body, because we are all different – Thanks for the Giveaway! I would love to start doing weights and get back to exercising this year!
i look back on old photos to see how far I have come, but still a long way to go. A funny one is though I find when my cloths get too big from weight loss it motivates me more
Having a photo of what I used to look like and great music!
Flashdance song – What a feeling!
Try and plan your workout straight from work, the minute you get home motivation goes to return to the gym so if you make it a straight from work thing it becomes part of your routine and you will be more consistent in not skipping a session, if youre an early bird even better if you can get your session before work as its the perfect wake up call to start the day
retweeting @norwichtony
If I need motivation all I have to do is pick up the phone and ring my friend who will greet me with the words Hi FatKat! Job done, I’m good to go again.
Get a dog it will help get you out and about be good company and good for your health and eat any leftovers save you from being tempted 🙂
My best motivational tip would be to find yourself a dedicated partner. I go with my boyfriend and I find this a massive help as I know he does too. When either one of us are feeling unmotivated after long days at work, we can always rely on one another to get us motivated again. I’m fortunate to have someone who encourages me to be my best self. I have friends’ who go with other friends’ and they find this a massive help as well. It’s a great feeling knowing you’re able to influence someone to keep themselves at their best self as they do you on those down days. ??♀️
Use Positive Affirmations to get motivated – “I’m the best, Better than the rest, I’m full of zest, I’ve passed the test, I enjoy the fest, I’m the luckiest, hooorahhhh!”
Embed it into your routine so it becomes part of your everyday life. It will soon become the norm and you will wonder how you ever lived without working out!
